Purpose:
Monitoring and operations management for large-scale server configurations.

Taking an established product that was already successful and applying some of the same concepts that made SCE so popular, we redesigned the entire experience.

My involvement included designing a reporting system from scratch, creating wizards as learning devices for first time tasks, designing for secruity and role management, and almost every aspect of the tool’s UI and UX.

I worked closely with the Server Division personnel to understand concepts before I could design for them. I even worked with devs to design the installer making it as easy as possible to get started.
