Bastoky Design 1995-2007

Freelance design and development of small business websites, teaching, Bastoky Gallery

After almost 7 years working as an FTE at Microsoft, I left in 1995 to open the Bastoky Gallery in Seattle, an art gallery promoting the work of emerging artists from the Northwest and the Bay Area. Having taught myself HTML and CSS, I designed and developed Seattle's first online art gallery. During the 2 years of running the gallery, I also began designing websites for small businesses, artists, securities.

The gallery closed after 2 years and I continued to freelance.

I also developed and taught courses at Bellevue (WA) Community College in print design, Web design, HTML, and project management.
